EPAM Pre-Junior Program Winter 2022

Pre-Junior Program is a new unique project at EPAM University. It is designed specifically for high schoolers who wish to learn more about IT and gain basic knowledge and skills in software development.

PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:

• In detail about the Ukrainian IT sphere, the main trends, and prospects
• Types of IT companies and how they are different
• Roles and professions in IT, main specializations
• Teamwork: Agile Methodology and SCRUM Framework
• Code tools (Git, etc.)
• Information Security. Internet safety and secure data storage
• How to create a CV and search for the first job

In addition to general introductory lectures, participants will be able to delve into one or several areas: Front-end, C #, and Cloud Computing. Participants can choose one direction or complete all three modules.

ORGANIZATIONAL DETAILS:

• Applications are accepted until November 29, 13:00
• Start: January 17
• Duration: 3 months
• Classes time: 16:30-17:30
• Format: online

Class schedule: for the first and last week classes will be held daily, from January 17 to April 8 — 1-3 times a week at the choice of the participants.

The program is completely free of charge for all participants and will take place online, so we invite students from all over Ukraine to join and get their first experience from the experts of EPAM University.

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM YOU MUST:

1. Register on the training portal to the program.
2. Fill out the form and show your level of understanding of technology.
3. Prepare a signed legal representative's consent, send it to [email protected] from the legal representative's contact email with the subject EPAM Pre-Junior program Winter 2022 until November 29.

All three stages are required, candidates who do not complete at least one of them will not be considered for the program.

The number of places in the group is limited, so the selection will be based on the answers completed in the form about basic knowledge of technologies.
